The Uzbek President denounced agreement between the Government of Uzbekistan and the Government of Ukraine on creation of the Ukrainian-Uzbek airline on cargo transportation, which was signed on 5 December 1996 in Tashkent.

Islam Karimov entrusted the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan to direct notification to the Ukrainian side on denouncing the agreement.

The resolution also abolished the resolution of the Cabinet of Minister “On approval of international agreement” from 10 March 1997.
