In line with the presidential resolution “On approval of international agreement”, the document was signed at the session of the Council of the head of governments of the CIS on 18 October 2011 in Saint Petersburg.

The Uzbek leader entrusted the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan to direct notification to depository on execution of inter-state procedures by Uzbekistan, necessary for entering into force of the document.

Introduction of changes to agreement will ensure good level of interaction among national hydrometeorology services of the CIS member states in providing information to population, state bodies, armed forces, enterprises and organizations on changes of hydrometeorology conditions and on natural phenomenon.
