The event was organized by faction of Democratic Party of Uzbekistan “Milliy Tiklanish” at the Legislative Chamber of Oliy Majlis of Uzbekistan.

MPs of Legislative Chamber, representatives of ministries and state bodies, youth and children NGOs and organization, and others participated at the roundtable.

It was noted that children toys are one of fundamental tool for development of human and handing over cultural values and heritage of nation. It was underlined with regret that currently Uzbek children mainly play toys, produced in foreign states, which does not meet Uzbek national traditions.

Participants underlined that Uzbekistan adopts measures to develop and protect children toys market and prevents import of toys, which harm children health and mentality. It was noted that Uzbekistan needs to develop a law on children toys to prevent spread anti-toys in the country, which harm mentality and health of children.

It was stated that Uzbekistan has all preconditions to adopt law “On security of children toys” and it will help to develop harmonically developed generation.
