On the eve of the 20th anniversary of Uzbekistan’s Indpendence, President Islam Karimov awarded a group of citizens, who contributed to development of the country, increasing its economic potential, strengthening peaceful and stable life of people, and achievements in various areas.

Uzbek President Islam Karimov handed over high state awards at the presidential residence Oqsaroy in solemn ceremony, UzA reported.

Islam Karimov said “It is great honour to congratulate you, my dear, who received high awards of our state for your self-sacrificing and fruitful work, and hand over them to you.”

He added that they should be worthy of for these awards. He wished strong health, happiness, success in work, well-being to their family.
