Italian delegation holds negotiations at Uzbekistan MFA
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) --
A delegation of Italy led by co-chairperson of the joint working group on trade, economic and industrial cooperation and export loans, Deputy Minister of economic development, MP of Lower House of Parliament Catia Polidori held a meeting at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MFA) on 7 October 2011.
The press service of MFA said that the sides considered issues of deepening bilateral trade-economic and investment relations. Polidori informed the Uzbek side on the results of the fifth session of the working group in Tashkent. It was said that Business Forum of business circles of Uzbekistan and Italy is important.
The sides considered perspective directions of cooperation and noted important role of accredited Italian firms in Uzbekistan, Commerce Chamber “Italy-Uzbekistan” and National Institute for Foreign Trade of Italy.
Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Italy to Uzbekistan Riccardo Manara participated at the meeting.
