Ambassador of Uzbekistan to Russian Ziyadulla Pulatkhodjaev handed over memorable order “O’zbekiston Respublikasi mustaqilligiga 20 yil” (20 years for Uzbekistan’s Independence) on the behalf of the President of Uzbekistan Islam Karimov.

The orders were handed over to Executive Secretary of the Commonwealth of Independent States Sergey Lebedev, Episcopacy of Russian Orthodox Church and Metropolitan of Omsk Vladimir for their contribution for development of bilateral and multilateral trade-economic, investments, cultural and scientific cooperation with Uzbekistan.

Metropolitan Vladimir said: “I want to express my gratitude to the Uzbek President Islam Karimov for high valuation of my activity. This award is peculiar for me.” He said that Uzbekistan become special country for him as he lived in Uzbekistan for 21 years.

Executive Secretary of the CIS Sergey Lebedev expressed gratitude to the Uzbek leader for award and wished success, well-being, happiness and prosperity to Uzbekistan.
