The committee on Religious Affairs said that autumn season of Umra-2011 will be held from 30 July to 3 September 2011.
On 30 July 2011, the first group, consisting of 174 people, left for Jeddah. On 1 August, 250 pilgrims flied to Saudi Arabia.
According to the committee, Uzbekistan Havo Yollari (Uzbekistan Airways) will carry out 12 flights to deliver 2,468 pilgrims from Uzbekistan to Saudi Arabia.
Two working groups headed to Saudi Arabia on 23 July and they carry out organizational works on placement of pilgrims to hotel, solve transportation issues and organize nutrition, etc.
Pilgrims from Uzbekistan will be placed at Al-Bishara Mavadda Hotel in Mecca and Abroj Al-Majidi in Medina.
Uzbek pilgrims will stay in Medina three nights and four days and will head to Mecca. The committee said that four working groups, 12 doctors and two cooks will serve pilgrims.
