President of Uzbekistan Islam Karimov also congratulated Truong Tan Sang with his election to the post of the President of Vietnam.

In his message, Islam Karimov expressed his assurance that activity of Truong Tan Sang at this high post will help for gradual developing and strengthening traditional friendly relations and long-term cooperation between Uzbekistan and Vietnam based on principles of mutual respect and trust.
