State Committee of Uzbekistan on management of state property (State Property Committee) adopted decision on issuing license to carry out valuation activity to representative office of Grant Thornton International in Uzbekistan, the committee said on 4 April 2011.

During the meeting, the State Property Committee official expressed gratitude to Grant Thornton International for cooperation and presented information on valuation market in Uzbekistan. They noted that the committee is ready to develop relations with the British company.

Representatives of Grant Thornton International, in their turn, noted that they are happy for cooperation with the State Property Committee. They stated that valuation system in Uzbekistan is one of the developed in the CIS states.

Grant Thornton International representatives shared their plans for 2011 and expressed readiness to contribute to development of valuation system in Uzbekistan.
