Uzavtosanoat joint stock company attracted US$12 million of foreign investment from Korean partner ERAE CS Ltd to realization of the project.

Annual designed capacity of the joint venture is 360,000 units of alternators and 170,000 units of compressors for all models of cars, produced at GM Uzbekistan.

Main consumer of the products, manufactured at the joint venture, will be GM Uzbekistan, which will allow the Uzbek carmaker to save hard currency on purchase of these components. It is expected that the plant will export part of goods.
