Pakhtakor Tashkent’s impressive play in the second half shocked Neftchi Ferghana in the first leg of semifinals of Uzbekistan Cup. Another Tashkent club, Kuruvchi, played a goalless draw in Mubarek against local Mashal.

Neftchi’s Sanjar Asqarliyev opened the score on the 24^th minute, when he used chaos in defence of Pakhtakor. Two minutes to the first half, Zayniddin Tajibaev equalized the score.

In the early minutes of the second half, the brace of Pakhtakor allowed to take a lid. Ilkhom Suyunov and Server Djeperov (from penalty) made the score 3-1, while Temur Kapadze increased the lead to 4-1.

Kuruvchi and Mashal played a goalless draw in Mubarek. The second leg of the semifinals will be held on 6 November.
