Uzbekistan forecasts 8.3% GDP growth in 2011
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- The Government of Uzbekistan expects that the growth of gross domestic product (GDP) of the country will make up 8.3% in 2011. This envisaged in the state budget of Uzbekistan for 2011.

Local newspaper Nalogoviye i tamojenniye vesti (Tax and Customs News) reported that Uzbekistan expects that the growth of industrial output will reach 9.3% in 2011.

According to the state budget forecasts, the production of agriculture goods in the country will grow by 5.8% and the volume of capital investments will increase by 12.1%. The state budget’s deficit will make up 1% to GDP.

Expenses to economy in 2011 will comprise 2.5% to GDP and major part of them will be directed to maintenance of objects of Ministry of Agriculture and Water Management.

The State Budget for 2011 also allocated 46 billion soums to repairing automobile roads within the Anti-Crisis Programme.

As earlier reported, the growth of gross domestic product of Uzbekistan on preliminary estimates will make up 8.5% in 2010.
