It is expected that enterprises of Uzbekyengilsanoat will manufacture 235,000 tonnes of cotton yarn and 116.4 million square meters of ready fabrics.

Uzbekyengilsanoat expects that the volume of stockinet output in Uzbekistan in 2010 will make up 36,700 tonnes, ready knitwork -72.3 million units, ready-made garments – 7.4 million units and hosiery products – 14 million pairs.

At the same time, the enterprises of the industry are planning to export products for US$592.5 million in 2010.

In particular, it is planned to export 155,100 tonnes of cotton yarn for US$372.2 million, 34.1 million square meters of ready fabrics worth US$47.7 million and 15,000 tonnes of stockinet for US$66 million.

It is expected that Uzbekistan will also export 45.5 million knitwork for US$91 million, 1.6 million units of ready-made garments for US$14.2 million and 7 million units of hosiery goods for US$2.8 million.

According to Uzbekyengilsanoat, 13 companies of the industry are realizing 23 localization projects in 2010 and they will produce goods for 22.16 billion soums. Share of localized goods in total goods production in industry will reach 3.5% in 2010.
