Five men’s singles and eight ladies singles matches were held on the first day of the 35th Asian Championships.

Dennis Istomin, was up against Hui Tong Yu from China Hong Kong. Dennis disposed off his opponent in straight sets , prevailing 6/3 and 6/4.

Korea’s Jae-Sung An was able to defeat his Kuwaiti opponent without much difficulties too. With the score of 6/2 and 6/2.

China Taipei’s Xsin-Khan Lee won his match against Kyrgystan’s Georgiy Kotlyarevski with a score 6/1 6/2.

Uzbek player Uzakov Vaja defeated his opponent from Hong-Hong Hoh-Kong .With 6/2 score in first set. In third game of the second set he lost the game on his service. He tried to improve the situation. But it wasnt so easy and he sought to play the 13th game winning the tie break score 7-2.

Japanese player Tatsuma Ito and Chinese player Wan Gao played three sets. ITO prevailed as winner( 6/4 3/6 6/3).

In the women’s matches Albina Khabibulina(UZB), who received a wild card defeated her Malaysian opponent Dorothy Chong with score 6/2 6/1.

Narzirkulova Diana, from Uzbekistan beat Turkmenistan’s player with score 6/1 1/6 6/0.

Hong-kong’s Ling Zhang defeated Dilyara Saidkhodjaeva (UZB).

Kseniya Palkina from Kyrgizstan won over and Yi-Fan Xu from China.

Uzbek player Vlada Ekshibarova , defeated Kazakhstan’s Olga Ippolitova with score 6/2 6/1.

Kazakhstan’s Kamila Rafkat lost to Jawairiah Noordin from Malaysia with score 6/2 6/3.
