Jose Carreras: I'm delighted with Uzbek fans of opera
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- On 14 October 2010, in the framework of the Art Week Style.Uz, a concert of the Spanish tenor Jose Carreras, one of the world stars of opera, was held at Uzbekistan Palace of International Forums.
“I’m honored to perform at such a big stage in Uzbekistan,” said Jose Carreras. “Uzbek opera fans have caused me great delight. I won the love of Uzbeks who have fine taste to classical music.”
The concert of Jose Carreras at Uzbekistan Palace of International Forums impressed opera art admirers, UzA reported.
