Art Week Style.Uz offers six exhibitions
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Six different exhibitions, including personal ones will be offered within the Art Week Style.Uz, which will take place as part of Art Week Style.Uz from 9 October to 14 October in Tashkent, Uzbekistan.

The Traditional Art, Design and Fashion Exhibition will bring together on one platform seemingly diverse levels of creativity: the traditional art of craftsmen and the art of modern fashion designers. Notably, no one will see any conflict disagreement and dissonance in this sort of combinations. Visitors to the exhibition will see applied crafts and modern design coexisting peacefully and even complementing each other, demonstrating an extraordinary mix of retro and modern trends.

The personal exhibitions of France’s Catherine Metais and Italy’s Marco Perego represent two individual and totally different attitudes and views towards the world. Catherine’s more placid and feminine attitude will present a stark contrast to that of Perego, whose works are both impressive and shocking at the same time.

“Aristotle’s Mystery”, an exhibition of young artists, is set to become a good artistic platform where young talents will demonstrate original solutions to artistic tasks and a peculiar world vision, workmanship based on various types of modern art techniques – from painting to installations and fashion design.

A visit to the “Signs of Time”, an international exhibition of contemporary art, is an opportunity to see how the exhibition’s participants resolve philosophical problems of Time and global transformations. On display will be works by artists who have earned plaudits in Venice, Montreal, Tehran and Moscow.

An archeological exhibition, another in the string of Style.Uz events, will offer a trip to Kanka ancient settlement, 60 kilometers south of Tashkent. The exhibition will demonstrate once again the ancient and history-laden foundation of the country.
