Central Asian Industrial Week launches in Tashkent
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- International forum Central Asian Industrial Week will be held in Tashkent, Uzbekistan, on 21-23 September 2010 at the pavilion No. 1 of UzExpoCenter.

The forum is organised by ITE Uzbekistan, a UFI member and leading organiser of international specialized exhibitions in Uzbekistan, and I.T.E. Exhibitions & Conferences Ltd. (UK), a leading international organiser of exhibitions and conferences in the new markets of the CIS and Eastern Europe. I.T.E. Exhibitions & Conferences Ltd. (UK).

Central Asian Industrial Week unites three international specialised exhibitions –Power Uzbekistan 2010, MiningWorld Uzbekistan 2010 and MCA 2010. Combining these exhibitions on related topics enables the comprehensive demonstration of Uzbekistan’s most important industry sectors, which reflect not only the situation inside the country, but also the external status of the country and its economic ties with the international community.

Currently, about 100 companies from 18 countries confirmed their participation, including companies from Austria, Belarus, Germany, Denmark, Italy, Kazakhstan, Canada, China, Norway, Poland, Russia, USA, Uzbekistan, Ukraine, Finland, Czech Republic, Switzerland, and Sweden. The Czech Republic, Norway, Russia (Penza region) and Ukraine will present their national expositions.

Specialized Uzbek International exhibition Power Uzbekistan is the first exhibition in energy topic, which is organized in Uzbekistan. This year, the exhibition will mark the fifth anniversary.

Power Uzbekistan allows to demonstrate potential of energy complex development and energy saving, as well as provides opportunity for promotion of investments to energy efficiency of industrial enterprises of Uzbekistan.

Among participants of the exhibition are representatives of all directions of energy complex. About 70% of participants represent the CIS states.

For the first time, an International energy conference titled “Power-2010: innovation, solution and perspectives” will be held within Power Uzbekistan. The conference will cover such issues as development of energy sector of Uzbekistan, industry reforms, new technologies and solutions, etc.

MiningWorld Uzbekistan 2010 also marks the fifth anniversary. For the first time, the exhibition was organized within Oil and Gas Uzbekistan (OGU) exhibition. The exhibition serves as platform for professional for experience exchange in use of modern technologies and ideas in mining industry. Norway will presents its national exposition for the first time. National producers group of the Czech Republic will expand its exposition.

Navoi Mining and Metallurgy Combine, Uzbekugol, Almalyk Mining and Metallurgy Combine will participate at MiningWorld Uzbekistan.

Third Central Asian International Exhibition “Metallurgy. Machinery – MCA 2010” expended its area by 30% this year. Russia and Ukraine machinery leaders expressed great interest to the exhibition.

National exposition of Russia will present for the first time. Penza region of Russia will represent Russia in the exposition. Ukraine also has significant place at the exhibition.

On 22 September, Ukraine will hold a presentation of the country’s industrial potential, which will include business talks.
