Uzbekistan purchases large party of Russian agriculture equipment
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) --
Agromashholding, a trade-service unite of machinery-industrial holding Tractor Plants Concern (Russia), signed a contract on supply of 100 units of AGROMASH 150 TG tractors to Uzbekistan. The part of the tractors will be supplied to Uzbekistan by the end of September.
Catterpillar tractor AGROMASH 150 TG is of general purpose. The tractor is designed to carry out works with trailers. The Russian tractor can be used almost annually.
Uzbekistan is familiar with products of Russia’s Tractor Plants. For past several years, about 4,000 agriculture tractors were delivered to Uzbekistan. But the supplies of Russian tractors decreased for last two years.
Andrei Volf, director of Agromashholding, said the contract is bright evidence that economy of Uzbekistan is recovering, as well as cooperation of machinery industry of Russia with farmers of Uzbekistan.
He said that there is also agreement to supply 250 units of Russian tractors in near future, which was achieved after negotiations. He added that Tractor Plants Concern is planning to launch industrial assembly of tractors in long-term period. The tractors will be adapted to work at cotton plantations.
