Chinese President to pay state visit to Uzbekistan
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) --
President of China Hu Jintao will pay a state visit to Uzbekistan on 9-11 June 2010, Chinese Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Jiang Yu said on Thursday.
Jiang Yu said the Uzbek President Islam Karimov invited Hu Jintao to pay a state visit to the country. During his visit, the Chinese leader will participate at the annual SCO summit.
The Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) was established in 2001 and it groups China, Russia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan and Uzbekistan.
