The agreement on presenting no-string financial aid was inked at the electronic library of the UWED, which was also equipped at assistance of the South Korean partners, Jahon news agency reported.

The UWED management expressed gratitude to the Korean company for assistance. It was underlined that this will help for further strengthening friendship relations between Uzbekistan and South Korea, as well as establishing close cooperation with educational establishments.

POSCO Engineering and Construction Vice President Chang Young Kim said that the company is trying to assist education sphere of Uzbekistan. He said the allocation of grant is another evidence for respect and mutual trust to Uzbekistan.

Korean Ambassador Jun Dae-wan expressed hope that POSCO grant will be significant help to the UWED to acquire necessary equipment.
