Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Terminals of the UZCARD interbank payment system began accepting UnionPay International cards. This was reported by the press service of UZCARD.

According to the system, currently there are about 150,000 terminals in Uzbekistan, which will acquire the cards of the Chinese system.

The statement of UZCARD noted that further development of this project is a strategically important step on the way of complex cooperation and interaction between the UZCARD and the UnionPay International.

It should be noted that today several banks of Uzbekistan are already members of the international payment system UnionPay International.
