Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- The population of Uzbekistan withdrew 12.29 trillion soums from their bankig cards in 2018.

According to the Central Bank of Uzbekistan, in 2018, the amount of funds withdrawn from banking cards increased 4 times compared to 2017.

The volume of funds withdrawn from ATMs increased from 98 billion soums in 2017 to 4.91 trillion soums in 2018, the regulator said.

The largest amount of cash was withdrawn in December 2018. In December, the population of Uzbekistan withdrew funds worth 2.37 trillion soums against 1.5 trillion soums in November 2018.
