The delegation of Poland pays an official visit to Uzbekistan and includes heads of several ministries and departments, public organizations, MPs and others.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs said the delegation arrived in Uzbekistan to participate in events dedicated to memory of soldier V.Anders.
At the meeting, the sides considered current affairs and ways of development of bilateral cooperation.
It was noted that for 20 years of diplomatic relations Uzbekistan and Poland accrued positive experience of cooperation in various areas and levels. The states formed rich legal base. All these are good foundation for further strengthening of cooperation in all areas of mutual interest both in bilateral and multilateral formats, including with the European Union.
It was underlined that expansion of trade-economic and investment spheres are interesting for both sides. It was stated that trade turnover between two states grew by 16% year-on-year to US$30.5 million.
The sides exchanged opinion on actual issues of the Uzbek-Polish cooperation.
Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Poland to Uzbekistan Marian Przezdziecki attended the meeting.
