Representatives of Uzbekistan Havo Yollari and mass media representatives, as well as others had good opportunity to familiarize with the airplane.
The design and interior of the plane’s cabin was fully updated and improved. Boeing 787 Dreamliner was fully produced from composite materials and it is the first aircraft of average size, which can conduct long-distance flights.
Within the tour, representatives of Uzbekistan Havo Yollari and Boeing conducted one hour flight, which demonstrated flight characteristics of the airplane. Alisher Karimov, one of the best pilots of Uzbekistan Havo Yollari and director of Flight Complex of the airline, conducted test flight.
Uzbekistan Havo Yollari said that this unexampled decision of Boeing is another evidence for Boeing’s respect to professionalism of pilots of the Uzbek companies.
Martin Bentrott, Vice President of Boeing Commercial Airplanes on sales in the Middle East, Central Asia and India said in Tashkent that Dreamliner is the first new airplane of the 21st century and large number of innovative technologies, used in aircraft, will impress both passengers and airlines.
Bentrott stated that Boeing expresses gratitude to Uzbekistan Havo Yollari for significant contribution to 787 Programme. He said Boeing is happy that the airplane landed in Uzbekistan and local partners and people can familiarize with it.
