Photo album “Fund Forum presents Uzbekistan” presented in Berlin
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- A photo album “Fund Forum presents Uzbekistan” has been presented in Berlin, Germany on 13 September 2011. Berlin became the first western European capital, which familiarized with the album.

The presentation was held at the event, which was held at the Embassy of Uzbekistan in Berlin, dedicated to the 20th anniversary of Uzbekistan’s Independence. Over 450 guests, including officials and businesspersons of Germany, foreign diplomats, representatives of international organizations, and others participated at the presentation of the book, dedicated to unique history and present Uzbekistan.

During the event, the guests also had chance to familiarize with exhibition, which presented original of images, used in the photo album. They were also able to enjoy traditional folk music and national dances of Uzbekistan, as well as taste national Uzbek cuisine.

Kersten Göpel, executive director of Peacock Buchhandel und Verlag, said that the presentation of the photo album “Fund Forum presents Uzbekistan” was culmination of the event. He said that the album has many images, which united beauty and charm of Uzbekistan. Photos of architecture sights of ancient cities of Uzbekistan, its unique nature, portraits of people are impressive, he said.

Laura Christina Medina Fransia, advisor- messenger of the Embassy of Venezuela in Germany, said: “I received positive impression from the event. I liked the presentation of the album “Fund Forum presents Uzbekistan”. Glancing through the book, I received many information about the country, its ancient history, rich culture, traditions and its people. I hope that Uzbekistan and Venezuela will promote bilateral relations, which can be boosted by such joint events.”
