PhosAgro, Uzkimyosanoat and the Branch of the Russian Chemical Technical University in Tashkent signed an agreement on cooperation

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Today the PhosAgro, one of the world leaders in the production of phosphorus-containing fertilizers, the Uzkimyosanoat, uniting chemical enterprises of Uzbekistan, and the Branch of the Russian Chemical-Technological University named after D.I. Mendeleev in Tashkent signed an agreement on cooperation in the field of supporting young scientists, popularizing fundamental sciences and training personnel for the innovative development of the chemical industry and agriculture of Russia and Uzbekistan.

The signing ceremony took place on the sidelines of the International Industrial Exhibition “Innoprom. Central Asia" in Tashkent. The document was signed by First Deputy General Director of PhosAgro PJSC Sirodj Loikov, acting. Chairman of the Board of Uzkimyosanoat JSC Timur Mukhamedjanov and Executive Director of the Branch of the Russian Chemical Technical University in Tashkent Batyr Nurmatov.

Cooperation will be aimed at supporting gifted students, organizing scientific events for the exchange of knowledge and experience in the field of sustainable agriculture, food security, rational use of mineral fertilizers, development of digital technologies, advanced training of engineering, technical and management personnel, research of agricultural needs for mineral fertilizers.

As part of the agreement, the parties also intend to expand the use of PhosAgro’s international digital educational platform Pro Agro Lectorium by students and teachers. Lecturers of the educational program are PhosAgro experts, famous scientists from the Russian Academy of Sciences, RGAU Moscow Agricultural Academy named after. Timiryazev and other agricultural universities, as well as top managers and experts from leading agricultural enterprises in the world.

Executive Director of the Branch of the Russian Chemical Technical University in Tashkent Batyr Nurmatov: “For the success of the innovative development strategy of both countries, business and science should be united by mutual interests - this is precisely the goal of our cooperation with the companies PhosAgro and Uzkimyosanoat.” Supporting young researchers, encouraging research in the field of innovative chemistry and sustainable agriculture is the key to the successful development of the economies of our countries for the benefit of future generations.”
