Petronas Carigali Baisun Operating Company announced tender. Tender proposals will be accepted till 21 November 2011 and the results will be summed up by the end of 2011.

In May 2010, the government of Uzbekistan and Petronas signed PSA on development of oil and gas fields at Baisun investment block.

The agreement came into force in September 2010. Petronas and Delta Oil Company (Saudi Arabia) signed agreement on creation of investment consortium to implement the PSA.

The agreement designed for 35 years. Preliminary gas production will make up 2.5 billion cubic meters. The preliminary project cost was US$600 million and currently it reached US$1.527 billion.
