Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Permits for regular flights to Uzbekistan will be provided to foreign airlines in electronic form.

The Form R information system has been launched, which makes it possible to issue online permits for foreign airlines to carry out regular flights to the Republic of Uzbekistan. This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Transport.

To date, the official representative of a foreign airline must fill out an online application of the established form on the website air.uztrans.uz. Until now, this process has been carried out in the traditional way, by issuing permits in paper form.

As a result of the launch of this information system and the digitalization of the process, excessive bureaucracy was prevented, and time spent in the process of issuing a permit was significantly reduced.

In the process of coordination, the permit is considered by the Civil Aviation Agency under the Ministry of Transport and the State Unitary Enterprise Center "Uzaeronavigatsia", as well as JSC "Uzbekistan Airports" and approved by the electronic digital signature of the Deputy Minister of Transport.
