Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- H.S., who had the intention to engage in animal husbandry, went to Nurata district, where through acquaintances he met Y.N. and T.N. 

Upon learning of Kh.S.’s goal, they said that in Nurata region there are 60 hectares of irrigated land belonging to agriculture, if he can pay 1 billion soums, they will add additional free land around it, and a total of 90 hectares will be issued through acquaintances. This was reported by the press service of the Department of Internal Affairs of Navoi region.

They agreed to meet with the buyer in Navoi, who said that he would pay part of the money now and the rest later. Y.N. and T.N., who received from H.S. 700 million soums were detained by the law enforcement bodies. 

A criminal case was initiated against them under part 4 of article 168 of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Uzbekistan. Investigations are currently underway.
