Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- The Government resolution amended and supplemented the Regulation on the procedure for the appointment and payment of state pensions.

In accordance with the amendments, the application for assignment (recalculation, restoration, transfer from one type of pension to another type) of pension to persons sentenced to deprivation of liberty, serving their sentences in colony settlements, is submitted directly to the Pension Fund department at the location of the colony settlement.

In this case, the payment of pensions to these persons is carried out by the departments of the Pension Fund through the administration of the colony-settlement by transferring the amounts of pensions due to the personal accounts of the convicted.
