Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) - Based on the threat of a disease being infected during quarantine, according to the decision of the Republican Special Commission, pensions and benefits were paid as a temporary measure by transferring funds to plastic cards, the Khalq Bank’s press service said.

At a video conference held on 13 May, on behalf of the respected President Shavkat Mirziyoyev, taking into account the objections of some pensioners, this procedure was canceled.

Now, employees of the former Khalq Bank AK system for distributing pensions, that is, on-site cash desks of the bank, will be delivered to the place of residence of pensioners and recipients of benefits from the 4th to the 27th day of each month based on the payment schedule approved by the local authorities, with strict observance quarantine requirements.

At the same time, pensioners who have expressed a desire to receive pensions and benefits through the Khalq Bank overdraft cards can apply through bank employees or directly to the district (city) departments of the Pension Fund under the Ministry of Finance.

Overdraft card facilities:

- Pensions and benefits will be transferred to plastic cards at the beginning, that is, until the 5th day of each month;

-It is possible to obtain an overdraft loan up to 50 percent of the pension;

- Upon receipt of cash at Khalq Bank’s ATMs and other commercial banks, payment for banking services will not be charged;

-A residual amount on the Hulk pension card is paid by the bank at 8%;

-Opening pension overdraft cards is free.
