Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- In Uzbekistan, 13 traffic violations have been identified for which drivers will be assigned penalty points on their records.

The telegram channel "davletovuz" reports that 0.5 points will be assigned for the least severe violation, and 2 points for a more serious one.

The points will be assigned for the following violations:

1. Violation of vehicle use rules (parts 3-5 of article 125).

2. Violation of tinting rules (article 126).

3. Violation of rules for using sound and light devices (part 1 of article 127).

4. Disregarding traffic sign prescriptions and other rules (article 128).

5. Exceeding speed limits (article 128-3).

6. Disobeying a red traffic light (article 128-4).

7. Creating an emergency situation, driving on the oncoming lane (article 128-5).

8. Violation of parking rules (article 128-6).

9. Violation of rules for transporting people (article 128-7).

10. Violation of overtaking rules (article 128-8).

11. Movement in a large group/convoy (article 129).

12. Violation of railroad crossing rules (article 130).

13. Leaving the scene of an accident (first part of article 137).

The government of Uzbekistan will establish points for these violations. Points accumulate within one year from the date of the first violation.

A driver who exceeds 12 points within a year will be deprived of the right to operate a vehicle. Administrative penalties will be determined by the criminal court.
