Fund Forum added that the jury will select 50 winners from 1,530 submitted projects to the programme. The winners will receive monthly or lump-sum grant to develop and realize educational projects.

Awarding ceremony of the winners of Pedagogical Grants Program will be held in Tashkent in February. Chairperson of Trustee Council of Fund Forum Gulnara Karimova will hand over awards to the winners.

The applications were received from 1 October to 31 December 2012 and 1,530 projects from teachers of general schools, lyceums, colleges, universities from all regions of Uzbekistan were received.

Some 900 applications were received from university teachers, 412 – from secondary special education institutes and 218 – from schools.
