Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) -- Analysts of the digital operator Beeline Uzbekistan studied data on the most popular gadgets, the duration of calls and data transfer volumes, and also identified the most “active” stations in underground transport. Thus, passengers at Chilanzar and Pakhtakor stations use the Beeline Uzbekistan network most actively. In May, the volume of data transfer in the digital operator’s network approached 60 terabytes at subway stations. Passengers also prefer modern gadgets, including the popular iPhone 11 and iPhone 13 Pro Max models.
Since the launch of the Beeline Uzbekistan network at all underground metro stations in Tashkent, the digital operator has been analyzing the operation of the network. Thus, according to the technical directorate, mobile Internet is most used at Chilanzar station, which is more than 7% of the total Internet traffic at 31 underground stations. Pakhtakor and Novza stations take the second and third places in this indicator. Passengers use the Internet the least of all at Pushkin and Turkiston stations.
— By June, through the Beeline Uzbekistan network, users at underground metro stations in Tashkent have already downloaded more than 217 terabytes of data, with more than 90% of this volume in the 4G network. Most often, subway passengers use the mobile Internet to read news, watch videos, listen to music or play games. However, some prefer to use the time in the subway to work or study online courses, among the messengers Telegram has become the leader, as expected, - Mahmudjon Nodirov, technical director of Beeline Uzbekistan, shares statistics.
Over the past three months, traffic consumption at underground stations has grown by 35%, and the total volume of data transfer for the month has approached 60 terabytes.
Despite the growth in mobile traffic consumption, users continue to actively and extensively talk on the phone, on average, more than 500 hours of calls are recorded at 31 stations on weekdays. The leaders in conversations were the passengers at Chilanzar and Pakhtakor stations, which share the first and second places, followed by the station - Alisher Navoi.
- At these three stations, we see more than 13% of all conversations underground. By the way, the peaks of calls fell on the main spring holidays, namely, the days before 8 March and Navruz (21 March), when the number of calls and congratulations in voice and Internet traffic traditionally grows, Beeline Uzbekistan Technical Director Mahmudjon Nodirov said.
An analysis of devices that were most often registered at Beeline Uzbekistan underground base stations showed that Android became the most popular operating system. Devices on this OS are used by an average of 71.9% of customers in the digital operator’s network. In second place are gadgets from Apple, they are about 25.2%, the share of other operating systems (Linux, Windows Mobile and others) and phones without Internet support is slightly less than 3%.
And here are the top 5 devices registered at the base stations of the digital operator Beeline Uzbekistan on average during the day:
