This year the number of passengers who flew from Pulkovo airport to Uzbekistan increased by 52% compared to 1H 2006. Passenger turnover at the airport has grown substantially.

In the first half of this year, passenger-exchange at the airport made up 2.55 million (up17% against 1H 2006). The number of passengers flying from the airport to the countries of the CIS has increased on average by 20%. In total in the first six months of this year 37,766 landings and taking-offs were made in the air harbor.

Regular flights to the airport in Saint Petersburg are conducted by 34 airline companies – this is the highest number in 75-year history of Pulkovo.
