Largest share in passenger transportation fell to share of motor transport (97.8%). In passenger turnover, motor transport’s share made up 88.1%.
Railway transport transported over 10.7 million people, which is up 9.6% year-on-year. Its share in passenger turnover rose by 7.4% to 1.948 billion passenger-km.
Air transport carried out 1.16 million people, which is less by 1.4% year-on-year and passenger turnover comprised 3.61 billion passenger-km or 14.4% down year-on-year.
Transportation of passengers with trolleybuses (down 40.9%), trams (down 23.1%) and underground (down 7.1%) dropped in the reporting period.
