Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) —  In the first nine months of 2024, Uzbekistan’s air transport carried nearly 5 million passengers.

According to preliminary data from the State Statistics Committee, from January to September 2024, the number of passengers transported by air reached 4.989 million, marking a 31.3% increase compared to the same period last year, when 3.798 million passengers were carried.

As a result, the passenger traffic in Uzbekistan grew by 1.191 million people over the first nine months of 2024.
