Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) —  On 4 November 2024, an accident involving a Cobalt passenger car and a bus occurred in the Akhangaran district of Tashkent region.

According to the Tashkent Region Police Department, the incident took place around 7:00 a.m.

Preliminary reports indicate that one of the vehicles attempted a U-turn, which triggered a short circuit in both the Cobalt and the Isuzu bus.

All passengers managed to exit the vehicles before the fire broke out, and no injuries were reported.

The short circuit led to a fire in both vehicles. Emergency service personnel responded swiftly to extinguish the flames, but both vehicles were completely destroyed.

An investigative inquiry is underway regarding the incident.
