Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- With the participation of the Trade Representative of Russia in Uzbekistan Konstantin Zlygostev, a bilateral meeting was held between the Head of Rosstandart Anton Shalaev and the Director of the Uzbek Agency for Technical Regulation Akmal Jumanazarov. This was reported by the Trade Representation of the Russian Federation in Uzbekistan.

During the meeting the following issues were discussed:

- preparation of an Agreement between the Government of Russia and the Government of Uzbekistan on the provision of technical assistance in the field of metrology;

- assistance to GNMI Rosstandart UzNIM in organizing and conducting comparisons of standards;

- implementation of the project “Creation of an innovative metrology complex” on the basis of UzNIM;

- interaction in the educational sphere, etc.

A month ago, Trade Representative held a working meeting with colleagues from the Uzbek Agency for Technical Regulation, summed up the interim results of the work done and identified further joint tasks.
