Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- A Government Resolution “On Approving the Regulation on the Payment of Subsidies to Citizens for the Acquisition of Housing” was adopted. 

In accordance with the Regulation approved by the Act:

part of the initial fee and (or) mortgage interest loan for the purchase of housing will be covered from the funds of the State budget of the Republic;

applications for subsidies will be submitted by citizens in need of better housing conditions, the applicant will be evaluated according to social criteria;

in the districts (cities), the activity of commissions for the selection of applicants will be organized, which will receive subsidies for the purchase of housing and will consider the results of the assessment according to social criteria;

the procedure for determining the purchased housing, calculating the subsidy for the allocated mortgage loan, arranging a mortgage loan and paying subsidies has been established.

Moreover, according to the Resolution:

services provided via the territorial divisions of the Agency for Public Services and the Unified Portal of Interactive Government Services in the selection process of persons who are paid a subsidy for the purchase of housing are carried out without payment;

information (documents) used by relevant organizations in the selection of persons to whom subsidies for the purchase of housing are paid are, on an exceptional basis, issued without payment.
