Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- A solemn event dedicated to the 30th anniversary of the Association for Study of History of Art of Temurids epoch took place at the Embassy of Uzbekistan in France, in which representatives of the official, academic, cultural and media communities of the host country, diplomatic missions foreign states accredited in France attended.

The Association established in 1998 in France and studies rich cultural heritage of Amir Temur and the Temurids, as well as popularize historical and cultural heritage of Uzbekistan among the French public.

The organization conducts scientific research, presentations, books published on the Temurids epoch. The pages of the journal of the association "Temurids" publish articles of Uzbek and French scientists devoted to the history and culture of this era, as well as events related to the scientific and cultural life of modern Uzbekistan.

During the event, the participants received information about the Association and its activities, cultural heritage of Temurids, etc.

Chairman of the Association Frederic Bressan stressed that the members of the Association are happy and proud that they have been promoting the art, culture and rich history of the Uzbek people for three decades, which is highly appreciated by the Uzbek side.

Bressan assured that the Association will continue its activity in promoting cultural and research exchanges, conducting and participating in cultural and educational activities in Uzbekistan and France, as well as carrying out publications on the culture and heritage of the Timurids.

In general, the event aroused a keen interest of the French public, and, according to the participants’ opinions, became another good opportunity to promote the Republic’s tourism brand and popularize the rich cultural and historical heritage of the republic.
