Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- On 9 May, a panel session of Invest in rising Uzbekistan was held on the sidelines of the annual meeting of the Board of Governors of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD). This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Investment and Foreign Trade of Uzbekistan.

The organizers of the event were the Ministry of Investments and Foreign Trade and the EBRD office in Tashkent. The event reflected not only the modern realities of doing business and investing in Uzbekistan because of its consistent reform, but also to trace the course of its transformation, the dynamics of economic growth, achievements in the new coordinate system, and also vector of further development.

Sardor Umurzakov, Minister of Investments and Foreign Trade, highlighting the latest innovations and initiatives of the government, during his presentation emphasized the importance of the current period for the economy of Uzbekistan as a turning point in the development of a new investment and foreign trade policy built on the basis of a system approach to each project.

Representatives of the EBRD, investors and top managers who already have experience in Uzbekistan and successfully implemented a number of projects also spoke at the session. During the question and answer session, the speakers presented detailed information on all questions that interested the audience.
