Pakistan’s TCS to Establish Logistics Hubs in Uzbekistan

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — On 25 June 2025, a meeting was held in Karachi between Akobir Tukhtayev, Deputy Chairman of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Uzbekistan, and the leadership of Pakistani transport and logistics company Tranzum Courier Service (TCS). The talks were part of ongoing efforts to expand cooperation in logistics, investment, and e-commerce.

The parties discussed in detail the prospects for implementing a number of joint projects in Uzbekistan. The Uzbek side presented the country’s investment and export potential, highlighting the growing demand for logistics services and the increasing volume of foreign trade deliveries, particularly in the textile, leather and footwear, agricultural, and construction materials sectors.

One of the key proposals was the establishment of a TCS logistics hub in Navoi or Termez, given their strategic location along regional transit corridors. Another initiative included the launch of a pilot route from Pakistan through Uzbekistan to member states of the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU), aimed at optimizing supply chains and reducing cargo delivery times.

Special attention was paid to the development of e-commerce and digital logistics. In this regard, the Chamber of Commerce and Industry expressed its readiness to provide institutional and organizational support for TCS's entry into the Uzbek market.

Following the negotiations, the parties signed a memorandum of understanding on the implementation of joint projects, which includes:

the creation of logistics hubs in Uzbekistan;

the adoption of digital logistics solutions;

cooperation on streamlining export procedures and enhancing bilateral trade and investment activity.

The agreement opens new opportunities for deepening trade and economic ties between Uzbekistan and Pakistan and strengthening regional transport connectivity.
