Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — Pakistan’s Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif is scheduled to make an official visit to Azerbaijan and Uzbekistan in the third decade of February, according to Pakistani media.
The delegation will include Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Senator Muhammad Ishaq Dar, along with several key federal ministers. Additionally, the delegation will be accompanied by a group of business representatives from Pakistan.
High-ranking sources informed The News that the Pakistani Prime Minister will spend two days in Uzbekistan before returning to Pakistan.
During the visit, Shahbaz Sharif plans to propose the use of the Karachi port for transit trade with Uzbekistan and aims to sign important agreements in the fields of trade and economic cooperation.
