Pakistan’s CCL Holdings Expresses Interest in Cooperation with Tashkent Pharma Park
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — On 24 June 2025, Abdullah Azizov, Director of the Pharmaceutical Industry Development Agency of Uzbekistan, held a meeting with representatives of CCL Holdings, one of Pakistan’s leading pharmaceutical companies.

During the meeting, the Director of the Agency gave a presentation outlining the opportunities offered by the innovative Tashkent Pharma Park pharmaceutical science and production cluster, highlighting the favorable conditions established for foreign investors.
The parties discussed key issues related to the government procurement program, pharmaceutical industry regulations, and the national health insurance system and its impact on the development of the pharmaceutical sector in Uzbekistan.
Representatives of CCL Holdings expressed interest not only in the Uzbek market but also in broader opportunities across the Central Asian region. They emphasized their intention to conduct a thorough assessment of potential entry strategies into the region.
