Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — At the invitation of President Shavkat Mirziyoyev, Pakistani Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif will undertake an official visit to Tashkent on 25–26 February.

During high-level talks, the two sides will discuss strengthening the Uzbekistan-Pakistan strategic partnership and expanding cooperation in trade, investment, and transport.

Key topics will include boosting bilateral trade, enhancing transit potential, and fostering collaboration in textiles, leather processing, agriculture, pharmaceuticals, and electrical engineering.

The agenda also features discussions on deepening cultural, humanitarian, and tourism ties, as well as an exchange of views on international and regional issues.

Following the visit, the parties will adopt a Joint Declaration and sign a series of bilateral agreements. Additionally, the leaders will participate in the Uzbekistan-Pakistan Business Forum.
