A parliamentary delegation of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan headed by the member of the National Assembly Mir Hazar Khan Bijarani familiarized itself with the activity of Oliy Majlis (Uzbek parliament) on 24 May.

At the meetings held at the Legislative Chamber and the Senate, it was noted that the relations between Uzbekistan and Pakistan were developing in different areas, including the inter-parliamentary relations, and the agreements reached during the meetings of the heads of the two states served as a legal framework for these relations.

The parties shared their opinions about future development of cooperation between the legislative bodies of the parliaments of Uzbekistan and Pakistan.

Pakistani guests also met the representatives of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan, Jahon reported quoting the local press.
