During his stay in Kazakhstan, Mukhtar will interact and hold meetings with the heads of government of the SCO member countries, said official Associated Press of Pakistan (APP).
"The interactions would provide an opportunity to Pakistan to further multi-faceted cooperation among the member countries in various fields, particularly in the areas of culture, trade and economy," APP said.
The 7th prime ministers’ meeting of the SCO member countries is scheduled to be held in Astana, the capital of Kazakhstan, from Oct.30.
The SCO, a regional organization founded in June 2001, comprises China, Russia, Uzbekistan, Tajikistan, Kyrgyzstan and Kazakhstan, with Pakistan, Mongolia, Iran and India holding observer status.
