Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — Uzbekistan’s Embassy in Pakistan is actively engaging with the Pakistani side on matters of trade, economic, and investment cooperation.
During a meeting with Pakistan’s Minister of Commerce, Jam Kamal Khan, on 2 December, Pakistan reaffirmed its support for Uzbekistan’s accession to the World Trade Organization (WTO).
On 6 December, a corresponding memorandum was signed in Geneva by Azizbek Urunov, the Special Representative of the President of Uzbekistan on WTO affairs, and Ali Sarfraz Hussain, Pakistan’s Permanent Representative to the WTO.
