In the first match of Group B, Tashkent club suffered a 1-2 defeat to the Polish side Polonia.

In the second match against Metallist Kharkov, Tashkent side claimed a victory thanks to goalkeeper Timur Juraev, who saved four penalties.

Farhod Tojiev opened the score in the 12th minute of the match. Ukrainian club could score immediately, but Cristalso failed to convert penalty to goal.

At the end of the match, referee gave another penalty to Metallist and this time Marko Devic scored the equalizer.

The winner of the match was determined after match penalty kicks and Temir Juraev save three more penalties to give victory to his club. Pakhtakor won with the score 3-2.

Today, Tashkent club will play its last match in Group against Azerbaijan’s Baku. Top clubs from each groups will qualify to final, which will be held on 3 February 2012.
